Mike Nesmith From The 60’s Band The Monkees Dies, 78 Years Old.

Singer and guitarist Mike Nesmith from the Monkees has passed away at the age of 78. He became known after starring in the Monkees own TV show and helped write classic songs like Mary Mary, Circle Sky and The Girl I knew Somewhere. He was known for sporting a green wooly hat and his Texan accent . He passed peacefully at home with his family. Death was listed as natural causes.
