Job title: Music Specialist
Job description: to teach Music in a primary school 1.15-3.15pm on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon in Coventry in multiple schools to children in Year 6 every week for one academic year. If you are able to teach two or more of the following skills to children please get in touch with me to discuss this role:
*Singing
*Percussion instruments
*Music theory
*Tuned instruments (i.e. guitar, ukulele etc.)
*Improvising/composing music
*Teach children to appreciate and understand a wide range of high-quality live and recorded music drawn from *different traditions and from great composers and musicians
We provide all lesson plans for you so no planning is required.
Pay: £20+ per hour depending on qualifications and experience
Location: Coventry
Dates: For the full academic year w/c 4th September 2017 until July 19th 2018 . This contract is initially for one academic year with a view to renew the contract thereafter.
Requirements:. Qualified teacher status is not necessary for this position however a valid DBS Disclosure, knowledge of Music and experience leading Music sessions with children is. If this is of interest to yourself or somebody you know in the industry, please email or call.
