A guitar which belonged to Beatles singer John Lennon has been sold at an auction in California for £1.5m. The former Beatles singer played the guitar for about a year before swapping it with his band mate and guitarist George Harrison. It then disappeared before mysteriously resurfacing last Year in the possession of a man in California.
