Don’t Sign Your Singing Talents Away.

My Singing Lessons has been made aware of an increase of instances in which record companies and record producers attempt to persuade singers and musicians to sign unofficial and unregulated paperwork for contracts. In most cases this involves the musician in granting an all rights “buyout” to the company or producer.
As this deprives the singer of backing track and video rights and other secondary use rights, we strongly advise against signing these forms.
