The Singer Takes It All Show Doesn’t Go As Planned

The first edition of Channel 4’s new talent show The Singer Takes It All didn’t quite go as planned with the show experiencing teething problems.
The Alan Carr-fronted show invited the folks watching at home to vote on a selection of singing wannabes via a special app as they performed. This may have gone down well with viewers if the shows producers had of got their app to work properly.
But just to add an extra edge to proceedings singers were faced with a ‘moving’ stage – which brought their performance to a premature end if they weren’t popular enough.
All of which could have worked much better if – as Carr openly admitted on air – they hadn’t suffered from ‘teething troubles’ which meant the app didn’t work as well as it was meant to.
