Prince Couldn’t Pay The Restaurant Bill

If you were worth nearly £200 million you probably wouldn’t have to think much about money and that’s what appears to have happened to singer Prince.
The pint-sized pop star was at swanky New York eaterie Costata with a guest. It seems he wasn’t eating but his guest gorged on “pasta, scallops, veggies and fries”.
When it was time to pay the bill the 55-year-old Purple Rain performer, who was kitted out with a cane and afro, realised they didn’t have any cash and had to call for his security guard to extricate him from a tricky situation.
It’s reported that the guard explained the problem to the restaurant manager and left him his details, saying he’d settle up the following day.
