I’m Marcia Richards, founder of Draw Out, professional singer, West End performer and vocal coach.

For more than 20 years I’ve worked as a performer in productions including The Lion King, Dirty Dancing and Hairspray, as well as performing as a backing vocalist for a wide range of artists. Alongside my performing career, I’ve helped singers of all ages and abilities discover stronger, healthier and more authentic voices.

My coaching isn’t about trying to make everyone sound the same.

I teach a wide range of musical styles including Soul, Pop, R&B, Gospel, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Contemporary Commercial Music. I also work with worship leaders, choir members and singer-songwriters looking to develop both their technique and artistic identity.

My lessons combine professional vocal technique with encouragement, creativity and practical tools you can immediately apply. Every session is designed to help you leave singing with greater confidence than when you arrived.

Lessons are available online worldwide or in person from my studio in Croydon, South London.
