Our tutor is a passionate singer/songwriter and she’s specialized in pop/rock and jazz singing teaching for seven years in schools and giving one-to-one lessons (Dbs checked). She’s been working with children, teenagers and adults – beginners to advanced level – preparing students for gigs, exams and scheduling didactic program.
Her singing lessons are focused on body relaxation and breathing as an essential starting point followed by warm-up exercises, vocal technique, lyrics significance and performance. The final point is to have fun, gain confidence and developing musicianship.
Her approach as a teacher is focused on the idea of the singing lesson as an enjoyable experience based on three concepts: flexibility, trust and joy. The lesson is tailored on student’s needs, takes place in a safe environment and is a creative and empowering experience!
She’s based in Ealing and I give lessons online right now, so I can teach to anyone, anywhere.
About Her:
After a Diploma in Jazz Singing and a Master’s Degree in Jazz Composition she moved to London to enhance her musical skills working as a Teaching Assistant in Pop Performance workshops and Pop Choir at the University of West London. She also led few workshops on “Body awareness for performers”.
She is attending a PgCert in Teaching Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama to deepen my teaching skills.
She’s a certified member of My Singing Lessons, Aotos (Association of Teachers of Singing) and Ism (Incorporated Society of Musicians).
