Marcia Richards London Singing Teacher
Marcia Richards is a Singing tutor based in London
Find Your Voice. Free Your Voice. Trust Your Voice.
Your voice is one of your greatest assets.
Whether you’re preparing for your first singing lesson, auditioning for the West End, recording your own music, leading worship, or simply wanting to sing with more confidence and freedom, the way you use your voice shapes not only how you sound-but how you express yourself.
I’m Marcia Richards, founder of Draw Out, professional singer, West End performer and vocal coach.
For more than 20 years I’ve worked as a performer in productions including The Lion King, Dirty Dancing and Hairspray, as well as performing as a backing vocalist for a wide range of artists. Alongside my performing career, I’ve helped singers of all ages and abilities discover stronger, healthier and more authentic voices.
My coaching isn’t about trying to make everyone sound the same.
It’s about helping you discover the very best version of your voice.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, an experienced performer or somewhere in between, every lesson is individually tailored to your goals, your voice and your musical journey.
Together we’ll help you:
Sing with greater freedom, confidence and emotional connection.
Develop a healthy, powerful voice without strain or tension.
Increase your vocal range, resonance, stamina and control.
Smooth vocal breaks and strengthen your registers.
Discover your own unique vocal style rather than copying someone else’s.
Prepare confidently for auditions, performances, recording sessions and gigs.
Develop artistry, storytelling and stage presence that connects with your audience.
Build lasting confidence in both your singing and your performance.
I teach a wide range of musical styles including Soul, Pop, R&B, Gospel, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Contemporary Commercial Music. I also work with worship leaders, choir members and singer-songwriters looking to develop both their technique and artistic identity.
My lessons combine professional vocal technique with encouragement, creativity and practical tools you can immediately apply. Every session is designed to help you leave singing with greater confidence than when you arrived.
Lessons are available online worldwide or in person from my studio in Croydon, South London.
Whether your dream is to perform professionally, build confidence, prepare for an audition, or simply enjoy singing without fear or strain, I’d love to help you unlock the voice that’s already within you.
