Singing Teachers Need To Know About Social Media
My Singing Lessons are delighted to announce that Nikoo Sadr from Music Ally digital music and media strategy consultants is to deliver a new 2-part seminar. The seminar will take a comprehensive look at the world of social media and how it can be best exploited to maximise opportunities in digital by reaching fans directly or creating innovative marketing campaigns.
In the sea of ever-changing social platforms, it’s hard to keep on top of all their updates. We won’t waste your time with the basics of set up, but rather cover how to go from good to great across your web presence. We will also look at the best relative strategies across these platforms to engage with fans and get the most out of your content. We will cover the small detail that goes a long way and which platform is best for what objective.
YouTube is the second biggest search engine in the world. More importantly it is usually the first point of contact for a new potential fan but often underused. We will cover how to best present your music videos from descriptions to annotations. This module will cover how to place adverts on your channel but not how to place your videos on others’ channels. We will then cover monetization through the partner program, MCNs, new features and what the music industry can learn from those that can work the ins and outs of the platform – the YouTubers. Please note, spaces for this event are limited and so registration is essential.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
