As more musicians take the DIY approach to releasing their music, marketing skills are becoming a necessary requirement for all artists. Musicians need to understand the principles of music marketing so they can find their audience in a crowded marketplace and earn money from music, merchandise and gigs.
In an entertaining and insightful presentation, successful independent artist and music marketing blogger Sheldon Southworth highlights the marketing essentials that musicians need to know, as well as the techniques that can be used to achieve success.
