John Theunissen, 66, Dutch guitarist (Pussycat). Daniel Ferro, 94, American opera singer and vocal coach. Al Aarons, 83, American jazz trumpeter (Count Basie Orchestra). Ramona Jones, 91, American bluegrass musician (Hee Haw).
David VanLanding, 51, American rock singer (Michael Schenker Group, Crimson Glory), traffic collision.
Richard Cowan, 57, American opera singer and festival director.
Seymour Lipkin, 88, American pianist, conductor (Joffrey Ballet) and music teacher (Juilliard School, Curtis Institute of Music).[
