Robin Thicke Twitter Q&A Completely Backfires On Him
Robin Thicke agreed to a VH-1 hosted Twitter chat to promote his new album Paula, where fans were invited to ask him questions, but the session soon turned into an angry backlash from scores of people.
Twitter users quickly voiced their opinions on the singer and didn’t hold back when they questioned him about the controversial lyrics from his hit song, “Blurred Lines” and his recent split from wife, actress Paula Patton. (Thicke has publicly dedicated his new album to his estranged wife in the hopes of winning her back.)
The uncomfortable Twitter chat comes days after Thicke’s performance at the BET Awards on Sunday where he sang his new song, “Get Her Back,” in another attempt to get Patton’s attention.
“Good evening, my name is Robin Thicke, I’d like to dedicate this song to my wife,” he said before his performance. “I miss you, and I’m sorry.”
Robin Thicke has now become the centre of a media storm with many branding him as creepy, desperate and pathetic.
