Jack Pack Singer Charged With Attacking Ex-Girlfriend
Britain’s Got Talent finalist Jack Pack singer Adam Diplock has been charged with assault against his ex-girlfriend and will appear in court this month.
The 29-year-old, who uses the stage name Adam Chandler, voluntarily met police for questioning at the beginning of the month after a woman, reportedly his ex-girlfriend of four years, was rushed to hospital.
A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed: “A 29-year-old man has been summonsed to appear before Maidstone magistrates on June 24 to face a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.”
As part of Jack Pack, Diplock, along with Alfie Palmer, Andrew Bourn and Sean Ryder Wolf, made it to the final of BGT after winning their semi-final with a performance of Frank Sinatra’s That’s Life.
The smooth group, who were praised by Simon Cowell for their singing style, eventually came fourth behind winners Collabro, Lucy Kay and Bars and Melody.
Adam, who has dated The Saturdays’ Vanessa White, also made it to the finals of another ITV talent show.
The singer made it to the finals of The X Factor back in 2007 when he and four other solo singers were formed into a group called Futureproof.
Jack Pack have not tweeted about the scheduled court appearance, but Adam last tweeted from the account yesterday, writing: “I think I need a tossed salad and also sort my passport photo out! Hair time and then off for food!”
Speaking to the Mirror upon questioning, a source close to Adam said that the singer “refutes any claims of wrongdoing”.
