Singer Tony Hadley to Perform Alongside 1980’s Artists

Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley to perform alongside 1980’s artists at Audley End picnic concerts this summer.

Audley End will host ‘The Greatest 80’s Party…Ever!’ with artists Tony Hadley, Midge Ure, Heaven 17, T’Pau, Katrina (ex Katrina and the Waves), John Parr and Johnny Hates Jazz performing on Saturday, August 2.

Famous hits from the acts include “Gold”, “Vienna”, “Temptation”, “China In Your Hand”, “Walking on Sunshine”, “St. Elmo’s Fire” and “Shattered Dreams”.

Then the ‘Last Night of the Audley End Proms’ concert will take place on Sunday, August 3 – starring soprano Laura Wright, Camilla Kerslake, Gardar Thor Cortes and Amy Dickson, who will all be accompanied by a symphony orchestra.

The summer evening will be rounded off with a grace spitfire display and firework display.

Unlike the Paul Weller performance on Friday, picnics will be allowed at both these concerts.
