Adele To Go On Tour Next Year?
Adele could be planning a world tour to promote her new album, according to new reports, that claim that the singer has spent a lot of time focusing on motherhood and is now ready to get back to work.
Adele could be hitting the road for the first time since 2011 and is said to be in discussions about touring the UK and North America, maybe even extending the dates to go worldwide, according to the Mirror.
The insider told the publication: “At the moment the discussions are all about a 2015 tour of the UK and North America at least, possibly a world tour.
“She has managed to spend a lot of the past two years focusing on being a mother, and wants to continue to do that while releasing and promoting new material.
“She has been back to work but is recording at her own pace. Her appeal has always been the quality of her music so she isn’t about to rush release anything just for the sake of it.”
The 25-year-old had previously vowed not to tour again until her son Angelo had turned two years old, although she has been hard at work in studio working on her third album.
The touring news comes after it was announced that the Someone Like You singer had managed to still break records despite taking a break from the showbiz industry, as her second album ’21’ became the first to pass the three million sales mark digitally.
While it may have been released three years ago, ’21’ is still maintaining its firm grip on sales and has become the first album to sell three million copies through downloads with a rep from Nielsen SoundScan confirmed to Rolling Stone.
The album has sold more than 28 million copies worldwide and has been certified platinum an incredible 16 times in the UK.
