1D Singer Liam Payne Could Be Heading For Meltdown
One Direction star Liam Payne looked like a pop star on the edge yesterday after he posted a rant on Twitter.
In a 5.30am message, the singer vented his fury at the backlash that followed when he voiced his support for American TV reality show Duck Dynasty.
One of the stars of the show is known for his homophobic views and Liam was slated for saying he was a fan of the programme.
And that row came on top of earlier controversy when Liam was pictured posing recklessly on a 350ft-high ledge on a block of flats.
In his tweet yesterday about his Duck Dynasty comments, the 20-year-old wrote: “Oh, my God, can someone literally not be a fan of a show without being labelled?
“What I gotta’ do to please you b******s? I’m a 20-year-old just living life as you did when you were 20, but in extraordinary circumstances.
“I can’t do anything without being judged. Sick of all this bull. I’ll be back again when the freedom of speech law is back and people don’t believe too much into the b******* they read.”
Liam was obviously well aware of the reaction his rant would have.
He added: “Can’t wait for the call tomorrow where I get told off for cussing. Had to be said. Like I said before, much worse has happened in the world.”
Liam’s family are beginning to fear the singer could be heading into a meltdown. His sister Ruth said: “He needs a break.”
She said that during a late-night phone call, the singer had told her: “I can’t do anything right.”
Ruth told her followers on Twitter: “I hope he has a long time away from Twitter now. At the moment, he just needs a break.”
Ruth said she asked Liam about his tweet saying he was a Duck Dynasty fan and he claimed he had “no idea” about the homophobic views of star Phil Robertson.
