Kelly Clarkson Reveals Brit Singer Adele Tried to Warn Her Off Motherhood
US country star Kelly Clarkson has revealed in a recent interview that she was warned off becoming a mother by fellow singer Adele.
Kelly, 31, who recently wed her longterm partner Brendan Blackstock, has readily admitted she is ready and eager to start a family.
However, in the latest issue of American entertainment magazine US Weekly the Since You’ve Been Gone singer revealed that it was none other than British singing power-house Adele, 25, who advised her to put her pregnancy hopes on the back burner.
In the interview Kelly revealed that Adele said: “Girl, don’t have a baby ’cause everything else will go on the back burner.”
Although we don’t doubt for a second that little baby Angelo is the apple of his mother’s eye, it’s no secret that Adele has vanished from the spotlight since giving birth back in October of 2012.
Adele’s kind warning seems to have fallen upon deaf ears as Kelly insists she and Brendon, who has children from a previous relationship, are already trying for their first child together.
Kelly gushed: “My eggs aren’t getting young! Brandon has two kids and I want two more!”
“Practice makes perfect! We’re trying, trying, trying … Like rabbits!” said the US country singer enthusiastically.
It looks like 2014 is set to be a big year for the two female singers; we’ll keep our fingers crossed for a pregnancy announcement from Ms Clarkson and a welcome return to the spotlight from Skyfall singer Adele.
